Our purpose is to equip participants with credible, practical training and a clear understanding of the responsibilities they will carry into the traffic control industry. We want you to feel welcome, ask questions and build confidence through learning and practice.

Traffic Control Licences is a specialist training provider focused exclusively on the traffic control industry. Traffic control training is not an add-on to a long list of unrelated courses— it is our core business and the focus of everything we do.

We use clear explanations, practical demonstrations and hands-on learning to help build genuine workplace capability. Whether you are entering the industry for the first time or developing your existing skills, our goal is to ensure you complete your training with the knowledge, practical ability and confidence needed to work safely and effectively in the traffic control industry.

Meet Wade

Wade Lewis brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the way we train and support our participants. His background spans traffic control operations, worksite coordination, traffic management planning, and training and assessment.

That experience gives Wade a practical understanding of what the job involves: communicating with a team, recognising hazards, following traffic guidance schemes and taking responsibility for the safety of workers and road users. He brings that perspective into the classroom, connecting the course material with situations participants may encounter at work.

Alongside fellow trainers David and Therese, Wade helps create an approachable learning environment where questions are encouraged and explanations are clear. Our team wants you to understand what you are doing, why it matters and when to ask for assistance.

A personal approach to your progress

We measure the quality of our service through the care we provide, the understanding participants develop and the skills they can demonstrate. Filling a classroom is never the whole purpose of our work.

People arrive with different backgrounds, levels of experience and confidence. Some are starting their first job; others are changing careers or returning to study after many years. Whatever your starting point, you deserve patience, respect and a fair opportunity to learn.
