Traffic Control Licences specialises in providing our customers industry relevant training for a safer work zone.
We combine many years of research, experience and policy with new approaches and skills to provide a positive and progressive direction in the education of the traffic control industry.
Our traffic management and traffic control courses are designed to be delivered to candidates with logical efficiency and in a manner which is easy to comprehend.
Our nationally recognised competency based framework
From 1st July 2015, Roads and Maritime Services NSW (RMS) introduced a nationally recognised competency based framework into their suite of training courses for traffic control. The changes mean that national units of competency (recognised Australia wide) will be issued to successful participants who successfully complete the new training. The previous 4 level structure (Blue, Yellow, Red, & Orange) tickets have been replaced with 3 levels as shown below.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The new courses recognise the experience and prior knowledge of current card holders and recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available to those seeking re-certification to renew the expired qualifications.
We provide courses and training in traffic management to individuals and businesses. We also provide a consultation service to companies wishing to implement their own in-house traffic management scheme.
Traffic Control Licences’ trainers have been delivering traffic management training & qualifications for two decades under the guidance and jurisdiction of Roads & Maritime Services NSW (formerly known as the Roads & Traffic Authority). We continue this training now with the inclusion of Nationally recognised qualifications of RIISS00044 - Work Zone Traffic Control Skill Set approved under the RII Resources & Infrastructure Industry Training Package.
